Ecquire.com Privacy Statement

Ecquire.com has created this privacy statement (“Statement”) in order to demonstrate our commitment to customer privacy. Privacy on the Ecquire.com Web site (the “Site”), interacting with ecquire via a mobile phone, and/or using any of our other services (text messaging, mobile access, emails, and other services ecquire offers are collectively referred to as the "Service" in this privacy policy), you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy"). Because we gather important information from our visitors and customers, we have established this Statement as a means to communicate our information gathering and dissemination practices. We reserve the right to change this Statement at any time. If Ecquire.com does so, the revised privacy statement will be posted on this Site and you will have the opportunity to modify your opt out elections see Opt-Out Policy below.
Collected Information and Use: We collect information from you in two ways:
- (1) when you voluntarily submit information to us through various pages of this Site; and
- (2) through the operation of the Site technology.
Set out in this statement are some of the circumstances when we might collect personal data and what it may be used for.
We require customers who register to use the services offered on our Site (collectively, the “Service”) to give us contact information, such as their name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and financial qualification and billing information, such as billing name and address, credit card number.
Ecquire.com uses the information that we collect to set up the Service for individuals and their organizations. We may also use the information to contact customers to further discuss customer interest in our company, the Service that we provide, and to send information regarding our company or partners, such as promotions and events. Customers can opt out of being contacted by us, or receiving such information from us, by following the opt out instructions located in the e-mails we may send you, or at any time by contacting us.
Separately, customers are also asked to provide an email address when registering for the Service. We may also email information regarding updates to the Service or company. Again, email will not be distributed or shared and customers can opt out of receiving any communication by following the opt out instructions located in the e-mails we may send you or by contacting us; provided, however, that Ecquire.com reserves the right to send its existing customers certain communications relating to the Service as part of our commercial relationship with you, such as service announcements and administrative messages without offering the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.
Apart from initial registration, you have the option of completing a Ecquire profile with further contact information, such as instant messaging, chat, social network website URLs, address, and web address. We will not use this Ecquire profile information to contact you. While using the Ecquire service, we will also store and make available to you any contact information of individuals which you submit to us. We will not use this information to contact those individuals, unless they register for Ecquire. The information you provide and the information Ecquire obtains about you (collectively, "Personal Information") may be used (a) to provide you with products and services you request; (b) to anticipate and resolve problems with our products and services; (c) to improve and update our products and services; (d) to process and respond to inquiries; (e) for other purposes communicated to you at the time you provide or authorize the use of the information. Ecquire does not rent, sell, or share your Personal Information with third parties other than as set forth herein.
You can use Ecquire to share your contact information easily with others. By making a request via text message, mobile web, or website, your chosen information is sent to a specified email address or phone number. The shared information is fully chosen by you and can be modified at any time. Information about you is shared at your explicit request, with one possible exception, which you may opt to enable or disable: If someone with a Ecquire account shares their information with you, they may be able to see the information you’ve posted automatically. This is an opt-in service and can be activated or deactivated at any time from the account settings page.
Ecquire.com may also collect certain information from visitors to and customers of the Site, such as Internet addresses, hardware profiles, and browser software versions. This information is logged to help diagnose technical problems, and to administer our Site in order to constantly improve the quality of the Service. We may also track and analyze non-identifying and aggregate usage and volume statistical information from our visitors and customers and provide such information to third parties.
Cookies:
When you interact with the Site we strive to make that experience easy and meaningful. When you come to our Site, our Web server sends a cookie to your computer. Cookies are files that Web browsers place on a computer's hard drive and are used to identify the customers and visitors of the Site to the Ecquire.com Web servers.
Standing alone, cookies do not identify you personally. They merely recognize your browser. Unless you choose to identify yourself to Ecquire.com, either by responding to a promotional offer, opening an account, or registering for a trial, you remain anonymous to Ecquire.com. Cookies generally operate in two forms: session and persistent-based. Session cookies exist only during an online session. They disappear from your computer when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you've closed your browser or turned off your computer. They include such information as a unique identifier for your browser.
Ecquire.com uses session cookies containing encrypted information to allow the system to uniquely identify you while you are logged in. This information allows Ecquire.com to process your online transactions and requests. Session cookies help us make sure you are who you say you are after you've logged in and are required in order to use the Ecquire.com application. Ecquire.com uses persistent cookies that only Ecquire.com can read and use, to identify the fact that you are a Ecquire.com customer or prior visitor to the Site (whatever the case may be). We are careful about the security and confidentiality of the information stored in persistent cookies. For example, we do not store account numbers or passwords in persistent cookies.
Users who disable their Web browsers' ability to accept cookies will be able to browse our Site but will not be able to successfully use our Service.
Web Beacons
Ecquire uses Web beacons alone or in conjunction with cookies to compile information about Customers and Visitors’ usage of the Company’s Web sites and interaction with emails from the Company. Web beacons are clear electronic images that can recognize certain types of information on your computer, such as cookies, when you viewed a particular Web site tied to the Web beacon, and a description of a Web site tied to the Web beacon. For example, ecquire may place Web beacons in marketing emails that notify the Company when you click on a link in the email that directs you to one of the Company’s Web sites. Ecquire uses Web beacons to operate and improve the Company’s Web sites and email communications. Ecquire may use information from Web beacons in combination with Data About ecquire Customers to provide you with information about the Company and the Service.
Public Forums, Refer a Friend, and Customer Testimonials:
Ecquire may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on the Company Web site. Any personally identifiable information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. Ecquire is not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these forums.
Customers and Visitors may elect to use the Company’s referral service to inform friends about the Company’s Web sites. When using the referral service, the Company requests the friend’s name and email address. Ecquire will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Company’s Web sites. Ecquire does not store this information.
Ecquire posts a list of Customers and testimonials on the Company’s Web sites that contain information such as Customer names and titles. Ecquire obtains the consent of each Customer prior to posting any information on such a list or posting testimonials.
Sharing of the Information:
Except as we explicitly state at the time we request information, or as provided for in the Ecquire.com Master Subscription Agreement or as provided herein, we do not disclose to third parties the information provided. All financial and billing information that we collect through the Site is used solely to check the qualifications of prospective customers and to bill for the Service. This billing information is not used by Ecquire.com for marketing or promotional purposes.
Ecquire.com uses a third-party intermediary to manage the credit card processing. This intermediary is solely a link in the distribution chain, and is not permitted to store, retain, or use the information provided, except for the sole purpose of credit card processing. Other third parties, such as content providers, may provide content on the Site but they are not permitted to collect any information nor does Ecquire.com share user information with these parties.
Customers of the Service will be using the Site to host data and information (“Data”). Ecquire.com will not review, share, distribute, print, or reference any such Data except as provided in the Ecquire.com Master Subscription Agreement or as provided herein, or as may be required by law. Individual records may at times be viewed or accessed for the purpose of resolving a problem, support issue, or suspected violation of the Master Subscription Agreement, or as may be required by law. Of course, customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their user registration and password.
Third-Party Sites:
The Site contains links to other Web sites. Ecquire.com is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other Web sites. Customers and visitors will need to check the policy statement of these other Web sites to understand their policies. Customers and visitors who access a linked site may be disclosing their private information. It is the responsibility of the user to keep such information private and confidential.
PhindMe, LLC (http://www.PhindMe.net) We use PhindMe, LLC to receive and process incoming and outgoing text messages. All text messages you send to and receive from Ecquire are received by PhindMe, LLC before being sent to Ecquire. PhindMe receives and stores your mobile phone number and full message content when you send a text message to Ecquire. To use Ecquire, you will receive reply texts from PhindMe only when you send a text message to the number 77950. Google (http://www.gmail.com) We use Gmail, a service of Google Inc., to receive, process, and store incoming and outgoing emails. Emails that contain your contact information are sent and stored by Google. We encourage you to review Google’s Gmail privacy policy found at http://mail.google.com/mail/help/privacy.html.
Rapleaf (http://www.rapleaf.com) In order to assist you in completing your Ecquire profile, we supplement the personal information you submitted to us with information from third party sources. To add social network website data to your Ecquire profile, we submit your email addresses to the RapLeaf service. Rapleaf searches and retrieves publicly available information about you, primarily social network site information. We do this to make it easier to complete your Ecquire profile. You will see all of the requested data and have the option to delete any and all of it. Rapleaf receives and stores any submitted email addresses. Privacy of Minors:
We do not intentionally collect or maintain information in the Service from those visitors who are under 13 years old. In the event that Ecquire learns it has collected personal information belonging to someone under age of 13, Ecquire will delete that information from our database. If you believe that we have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at support@ecquire.com, or call 1-866-201-5340.
Security:
Our Site has appropriate security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the Data under our control. Our Site is accessible only through browsers capable of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This technology protects data passed between the Site and the browser using both server authentication and encryption to ensure that Data is safe, secure, and available only to you. Ecquire.com also implements an advanced security method based on dynamic data and encoded session identifications, and hosts the Site in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. Finally, Ecquire.com provides unique user names and passwords that must be entered each time a customer logs on. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of Data.
Opt-Out Policy:
Ecquire.com offers its visitors and customers a means to choose how we may use information provided. If, at any time after registering for information or ordering the Service, you change your mind about receiving information from us or about sharing your information with third parties, send us a request specifying your new choice. Simply contact us.
Correcting & Updating Your Information:
If customers need to update or change registration information they may do so by editing their account settings. To update your account settings, log on to Ecquire.com and click on Settings. To discontinue the Service, contact us or call (610) 212-1692. Ecquire.com will respond to your correction or update request within at most 30 days from the date of your request.
Acceptance:
This privacy statement is incorporated into and subject to the terms and conditions of the Ecquire.com Master Services Agreement. Use of the Service is subject to your compliance with those terms and conditions, which constitute a legal agreement between you and Ecquire.com. Each time you use the Service you signify that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Master Subscription Agreement, which incorporates this privacy statement. USE OF THIS SITE SIGNIFIES THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE MASTER SUBSCRIPTION AGREEMENT AND THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT. If you do not agree with the terms of either of such documents, please do not provide Ecquire.com with any information and do not use this Site. Your continued use of the Service or this Site in light of modifications to the privacy statement will signify your acceptance of the modifications.
Business Transitions:
In the event ecquire Inc. goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. You will be notified via prominent notice on our Web site for 30 days of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information. Although we currently do not have a parent company, any subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control (collectively, "Affiliates"), we may in the future. We may share some or all of your Personal Information with these Affiliates, in which case we will require our Affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.
Changes in this Privacy Statement:
We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, and by means of a notice on our home page.
